YOU MADE IT!
Welcome to the end of your school year, teacher friend!
If you’re looking for a sweet song for your students to sing at the end of the year, this resource is my gift to you! You'll get:
- a YouTube link to a karaoke-style version of “A Million Dreams” from The Greatest Showman
- a slideshow of words that I think would be appropriate for a pre-school, kindergarten, 1st or 2nd grade aged class.
The text here isn’t editable, but you are more than welcome to “steal” the lines you love and put your own twist on it for your own personal classroom or grade-level use. Feel free to share this presentation with your friends and colleagues as well!
I can’t wait to have my class sing this at our end of the year celebration that parents and special guests are invited to attend (Want more information on that event? There’s a link included in this resource.). The words are a reflection on the year, a celebration of friendship, and an encouragement for families to spend time with their child as they grow.
The first time I sang it to my class (and FYI, I do NOT have a great singing voice- haha!), they got teary-eyed and starting hugging me. That’s when I knew this was going to be a PERFECT song for the end of the year! :)
I hope your kids love it as much as mine do! I’d love to see how it turns out for you so feel free to tag me and share on Instagram. I’m at: https://www.instagram.com/howywoodkate/
